I’m Kellie,

An Ann Arbor wedding photographer who believes you shouldn't have to perform for your photographs. My favorite images aren't created when couples are trying to look perfect, they happen when they forget the camera is there and simply enjoy each other.

The Person Behind the Camera

I've always been fascinated by people. The stories they carry, the experiences that shape them, and the small moments that reveal who they truly are.

Before I ever photographed weddings, I was drawn to noticing beauty. The quiet joy in someone's smile. The look between siblings that says years of inside jokes. The tears that reveal just how much a moment means.

A wedding day is filled with these moments. The carefully chosen details, the people who traveled to celebrate you, the unexpected laughter, the little pieces of your story unfolding all around you. My job is to notice them, preserve them, and create something that feels honest to who you are.

What It’s Like to Work Together

A calming presence when it matters most.

Your wedding day is exciting, and it can also feel overwhelming. There are timelines to consider, family dynamics to navigate, and moments when you might wonder, "What are we supposed to do now?"

That's where I come in.

I won't take over your day or turn it into a photoshoot. I'll offer guidance when you need it, encouragement when you need confidence, and space when the moments happening naturally are the ones worth preserving.

My goal is for you to feel like yourselves, not like you're performing for the camera.

The Balance Between Direction and Documentary

The best wedding photography isn't entirely posed or entirely hands-off.

The most meaningful galleries have both.

Some moments deserve thoughtful guidance: a portrait where you feel confident, a family photo where everyone looks their best, a moment where I help you slow down and connect.

Other moments deserve to unfold exactly as they are: the laughter between friends, the tears during a toast, the little interactions happening just outside the spotlight.

Knowing when to step in and when to step back is what creates photographs that feel natural.

A Few Things About Me

When I'm not photographing weddings, you'll usually find me looking for beauty somewhere unexpected.

Painting my way through local park landscapes with bubble tea in hand

Searching for the best chocolate chip cookie I can find (recommendations are always welcome)

Welcoming the sunrise while watching anime over a bowl of Reeses Puffs (If you can’t tell, I love food)

I believe creativity keeps us curious, and curiosity helps us see the world a little differently.

The Heart Behind the Work

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: people deserve to feel seen.

Whether it's a wedding day, a portrait session, or simply a conversation, I love creating spaces where people feel comfortable being exactly who they are.

That’s why photography has always felt like home to me. It combines everything I love most: the opportunity to connect with people, the ability to capture beauty, and the privilege of preserving moments that would otherwise pass too quickly.

Ready to tell me your story?

I'd love to hear what you're dreaming up, what matters most to you, and how you hope your wedding day will feel.

If it sounds like we're a good fit, we'll schedule a conversation, answer your questions, and start creating a photography experience that feels completely like you.
