I’m based near Ann Arbor, Michigan but I travel for portrait sessions throughout the Midwest and beyond. My mini sessions are offered in different locations throughout the year, so the best place to find an upcoming session near you is to check the current session offerings.

A 15-minute photo session, a private online gallery within 2 weeks, and your choice of 5 professionally edited images to download in full resolution with personal printing rights included. If you fall for more than 5 (most people do), you can purchase additional images or upgrade to the full gallery.

Sure is. I've planned these sessions around a handful of meaningful moments, not dozens of poses. We move quickly, I'll guide you the whole way through, and you'll be surprised how much variety we get in 15 minutes.

For families with young children, the shorter timeframe is often a huge advantage because it keeps everyone engaged and happy.

That's so normal. And some of the best images come from the in-between moments anyway. Snuggles, giggles, someone making a weird face. I'll aim for a few where everyone's looking and smiling, but there's no pressure to sit still and perform. I'll guide you the whole time and work quickly to catch what's real.

Yes! Additional images and the full gallery are available for purchase once you see everything from your session in your proof gallery.

Once you book, I’ll send a handy mini session guide with lots of outfit tips and color inspiration.

For people feeling hesitant about coordinating colors, I generally recommend soft, earthy tones like cream, oatmeal, sage, olive, dusty blue, or warm neutrals. The most important thing is that everyone feels comfortable and that your outfits coordinate rather than match exactly.

Avoid large logos, neon colors, and busy patterns as they tend to take the attention away from every other part of the photo (i.e. your beautiful faces!)

In the day or two before your session, I’ll send a detailed confirmation email with the exact meeting location, parking information, and a map pin so you know exactly where to go.

I ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can start your session on time.

Because mini sessions are scheduled back-to-back, I’m only able to photograph during your reserved time slot.

If you arrive late, we’ll use whatever time remains, but it will affect the number of images you receive, so I highly recommend giving yourself a little extra travel time and arriving 10 minutes early.

If the weather looks questionable, I’ll keep a close eye on the forecast and communicate with everyone well in advance.

If we need to reschedule because of rain or unsafe weather conditions, I’ll offer a backup date or another solution so you don’t lose your session.

Your proof gallery will be delivered within 10 business day of your session.

You’ll receive an email with a link to your private gallery, where you can view all of your images and choose your favorite five.

Once you’ve selected your final images and your proof gallery closes, I’ll deliver your fully edited online gallery of full resolution images within 10 business days.

These mini sessions are designed for one immediate family, one couple, one senior, or one maternity group per time slot so we can make the most of our 15 minutes together.

Dogs are more than welcome as long as they're leashed the whole time and comfortable around people and other dogs.
