Limited sessions available.
The way your kids look right now. The way they still reach for your hand. The people you love exactly as they are today.
I'll gently guide you through 15 minutes at Ijams, creating photographs that feel natural, connected, and unmistakably yours.
Enough time to settle in, connect, and create a beautiful variety of photographs without committing your whole afternoon.
After your session, you'll receive a proof gallery and choose your five favorites for professional editing. They’ll be yours to download in full resolution with personal printing rights.
You don't need to know how to pose or where to put your hands. I'll give you simple direction while leaving plenty of room for the real moments to happen.
Kellie was a dream to work with. She has clear and creative instructions for posing, and makes you feel comfortable, like you've been friends for years.
Having never had professional photos taken before, she made us laugh and feel so comfortable during both our engagement session and our wedding day. I cannot recommend her enough, her photographs will be cherished in our family forever.
I am in no way uneasy in front of a camera and my husband is the opposite — when I tell you he was THRILLED with our experience with Kellie, I am not exaggerating. She has such a knack for making people feel comfortable getting their photo taken while capturing the most natural, authentic, beautiful pictures.
A 15-minute photo session, a private online gallery within 2 weeks, and your choice of 5 professionally edited images to download in full resolution with personal printing rights included. If you fall for more than 5 (most people do), you can purchase additional images or upgrade to the full gallery.
Yes. I've planned these sessions around a handful of meaningful moments, not dozens of poses. We move quickly, I'll guide you the whole way through, and you'll be surprised how much variety we get in 15 minutes.
For families with young children, the shorter timeframe is often a huge advantage because it keeps everyone engaged and happy.
That's so normal. And some of the best images come from the in-between moments anyway. Snuggles, giggles, someone making a weird face. I'll aim for a few where everyone's looking and smiling, but there's no pressure to sit still and perform. I'll guide you the whole time and work quickly to catch what's real.
Yes. Additional images are available and you can also upgrade to the full gallery once you see everything from your session.
Once you book, I’ll send a mini session guide with outfit tips and color inspiration.
For people feeling hesitant about coordinating colors, I generally recommend soft, earthy tones like cream, oatmeal, sage, olive, dusty blue, or warm neutrals. The most important thing is that everyone feels comfortable and that your outfits coordinate rather than match exactly.
Avoid large logos, neon colors, and busy patterns as they tend to take the attention away from every other part of the photo (i.e. your beautiful faces!)
In the week before your session, I’ll send a detailed confirmation email with the exact meeting location, parking information, and a map pin so you know exactly where to go.
I ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can start your session on time.
Because mini sessions are scheduled back-to-back, I’m only able to photograph during your reserved time slot.
If you arrive late, we’ll use whatever time remains, but it will affect the number of images you receive, so I highly recommend giving yourself a little extra travel time and arriving 10 minutes early.
If the weather looks questionable, I’ll keep a close eye on the forecast and communicate with everyone well in advance.
If we need to reschedule because of rain or unsafe weather conditions, I’ll offer a backup date or another solution so you don’t lose your session.
Your edited gallery will be delivered within 2 weeks after the session.
You’ll receive an email with a link to your private gallery, where you can view all of your images and choose your favorite five.
These mini sessions are designed for one immediate family, one couple, one senior, or one maternity group per time slot so we can make the most of our 15 minutes together.
I love dogs, and they’re welcome as long as they're leashed the whole time and comfortable around people and other dogs.
If you're hoping to include grandparents or a larger extended family group, send me a quick message before booking and I'll help you decide whether a mini session is the right fit or if a full family session would give you a better experience.
I'll also be in Knoxville the week before our mini session day and have a very limited number of full portrait sessions available for families who want more time, more variety, and a larger collection of photographs.
